Warren Sapp is broke. And he has no clue where his Super Bowl XXXVII and NCAA national championship rings are.
TMZ.com reports the chatty formerdefensive tackle turned analyst for the NFL Network has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Florida. The former 12-year veteran is considered a solid bet to one day be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. This makes it clear the sooner he can hit the Hall of Fame autograph signing circuit, the better off he will be.
Per the TMZ reports, Sapp owes more than $6.7 million, including nearly $1 million to the IRS and hundreds of thousands of dollars in "support payments and alimony to at least 4 different baby mamas."
Sapp claims $6.45 million in assets, which includes 240 pairs of Jordan sneakers and sandals, a Lion skin rug and a large nude women painting. He also has a De Grisogono watch but notes it has scratches on the crystal and band.
Sapp currently earns $540,000 per year working for NFL Network -- $45,000 per month – but according to the report his contract expires in August and he does not know if he will be renewed."
