The feds filed a criminal complaint today against James von Brunn for the murder of Steven Tyrone Johns, a security guard at the National Holocaust Museum. It includes a note von Brunn wrote saying "Obama was created by Jews."

Does that make Obama a golem?
The complaint says Johns actually opened the door for von Brunn as he was entering the museum holding a rifle at his side. Then von Brunn shot him, and was in turn shot in the face by two other guards. Afterward, FBI agents found a notebook in Von Brunn's car:
You want my weapons—this is how you'll get them. The Holocaust is a lie. Obama was created by Jews. Obama does what his Jew owners tell him to do. Jews captured America's money. Jews control the mass media. The 1st Amendment is abrogated—henceforth. See: holywesternempire.org.
Apparently, among the White Power crowd, being controlled by Jews—you know, the ones that Obama is throwing under the bus by being a secret Muslim and turning his back on Israel—is worse than just plain-old being black. To add to the ideological incoherence, Politico is reporting that federal investigators found the Weekly Standard's address in von Brunn's notebook and paid the magazine a visit to ask if they'd received any threat from him.
Interestingly, von Brunn flacked for his web site in what he likely thought was a suicide note. Talking Points Memo reports that Von Brunn transferred the registration of the site over to someone named Steve Reimink on June 1, nine days before the killing. Which makes it seem like he was making preparations for his hate site to live on after his death. According to TPM, the phone number listed on the registration for Reimink is shared by a former coordinator for the Ron Paul campaign, who appears to be Reimink's girlfriend.
