    Government should stop providing housing above a single bed and a locker in a common room, HUD and similar state and local agencies must be shut down, full stop. Providing free apartments to poor people just removes a major incentive to work harder and encourages procreation they cannot afford, prolonging the poverty to the new generation. If not that, by now poverty would be essentially over, because approximately 100% of poor people are children of poor people who could not afford children on their own to begin with.
