Davenport recently sent out an email portraying President Barack Obama and his parents as chimpanzees. Along with the offensive image was the text: "Now you know why - No birth certificate!"
Friday the racist email became public knowledge, and the response was swift. The former chairman of the Republican party Michael Schroeder, along with other Republican party officials, denounced Davenport's email as "despicable" and are calling for her immediate resignation from the Orange County Republican Central Committee.
Orange County Weekly reports that when reached by telephone and asked if she thought the email was appropriate, Davenport said:
"Oh, come on! Everybody who knows me knows that I am not a racist. It was a joke. I have friends who are black. Besides, I only sent it to a few people--mostly people I didn't think would be upset by it."
Orange County Weekly went on to report that after the story became public, Davenport sent out another email demanding to know the identity of "the coward" who leaked her email to the press.

What an idiot. Or should I say racist, insensitive idiot. Davenport supports the Tea Party (aka Republican Tea Baggers). The Tea Party is the Jim Crow. What more can you think of someone that would dare put this discussing picture on the internet. America's problem from inception has been racism and still is. Then you have another fool Trump, that is stuck on stupid. The birther issue. Come on Donny Boy I gave you more credit than you really deserve. Even a Native American Indian can see through all of this crap. A Cherokee frustrated with all of this Republican BS.
