NV-Sen: Sec. of State blasts Angle for peddling conspiracy theory to raise cash http://bit.ly/bzsvDH #p2

Even before she loses, Sharron Angle is already accusing Harry Reid of stealing the election through a massive plot to buy votes from Nevadans. The only problem with Angle's conspiracy theory: it's a figment of her imagination. Ross Miller, Nevada's Secretary of State, blasted her fear-mongering and baseless accusations of criminality:

The statues involved in this matter carry criminal penalties, and complaints should contain specific information, not conjecture and rumor used in support of a plea for financial contributions, as the foundation of the violation. To date, no such complaint has been submitted to this office.

Note that Miller said such allegations should be made to his office, not "in support of please for financial contributions." The reason? Sharron Angle delivered her accusations in a fundraising letter -- not a formal complaint to state officials. And the reason for that is obvious: Angle knows her conspiracy theory is bunk. But she thinks her supporters are so gullible that it'll motivate them to donate to her campaign anyway.
