Stephanie Izard to host Thanksgiving dinner for low-income families

And now, a note from the Department of Giving Back:

Stephanie Izard and her team at Girl & The Goat will throw a Thanksgiving meal for low income families this year. They're feeding these families (roughly 230 people total) with the help of Common Threads and…you.

Here's where you come in: The restaurant is selling T-shirts sporting the image above to help pay for the meal. They're $35 each. Buy one. Put it on. Tell other people where to get one.

Or buy a button for $3. Each button will serve as a ticket for a raffle that G&TG will hold, where ten people will win heritage turkeys.

Both the tee shirts and the buttons are available at the restaurant. That warm fuzzy feeling you get from helping feed the hungry is free with each purpose.
