The argument seems to be, as Stewart put it, that "Obama had the audacity to greet another world leader with a gesture so meaningless, you can train a basset hound to do it."
Stewart also mocked John McCain for comparing the handshake to the Hitler-Neville Chamberlain one. He said this entire "scandal" goes against the spirit of what Mandela fought for to bitch and moan over a g*ddamn handshake.''
