Does George W. Bush deserve any credit for the killing of Osama Bin Laden?
A number of former Bush administration officials are making the case that he does, pointing to U.S. officials who say that some of the initial intelligence that eventually led to Sunday's mission was obtained as a result of Bush's national security policies instituted after Sept. 11, 2001.
The Wall Street Journal reports that a handful of lawyers who worked for the Bush White House met by conference call Monday to talk about the counterterrorism efforts that administration launched post-9/11, including the controversial detention practices at the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba:
