Rashard Mendenhall is an Idiot - expressed his distaste towards Americans for celebrating the death of Osama Bin Laden

In case anyone hasn't heard, Pittsburgh Steelers running back and Chicago native, Rashard Mendenhall has expressed his distaste towards Americans for celebrating the death of Osama Bin Laden.

"What kind of person celebrates death? It's amazing how people can HATE a man they have never even heard speak. We've only heard one side," is what Mendenhall tweeted.

What kind of person celebrates death? how about Osama Bin Laden? This is  a guy who trained/convinced 6,7, and 8 year olds to strap bombs around their chest and end their lives. All for Bin Laden's wishes.

And we've only heard one side? not really sure what Mendenhall means by this considering Bin Laden has been recorded on tape that he was the mastermind and funded the 9/11 attacks. What else would you like to hear from the man? That it's for a better cause? That him and his nut-job al-Qaeda friends plan for a global jihad is a good idea? Please.

Mendenhall then tweeted, "We'll never know what really happened. I just have a hard time believing a plane could take a skyscraper down demolition style." So, obviously he is also one of those crazy theorist who believes America attacked themselves on 9/11. Seriously Rashard?

Sure, I understand that it can be rough for people to applaud the death of someone, but when it comes to Osama Bin Laden, the man who killed thousands of Americans and civilians across the world, I will stand up and cheer. Not only did we take down a person, we took down a symbol, and that symbol is of evil terrorism and hatred on the world.

The world is a better place with out him.

  1. There is not one person that believes themselves to be evil in the world, just differing opinions and viewpoints that we cannot understand from our perspectives. Just because the world is a better place without him does not mean the murder was something we should be dancing in the streets about. It was what had to be done, but when we start celebrating murder, we are just stooping to their level, and treating murder in a similar method as they are.

Let's enjoy a safer world but what we had to do to secure it was not glorious and death is never something to celebrate.
