Baltimore Orioles outfielder Luke Scott questioned whether President Obama was born in the United States in an interview with Yahoo Sports on Tuesday.
"He was not born here," Scott said. "That's my belief. I was born here. If someone accuses me of not being born here, I can go — within 10 minutes — to my filing cabinet and I can pick up my real birth certificate and I can go, "See? Look! Here it is. Here it is." The man has dodged everything. He dodges questions, he doesn't answer anything. And why? Because he's hiding something."
The 32-year-old also claimed that there is "no legal documentation" of Obama's birth in the United States, even though the President has provided his Hawaii birth certificate from Aug. 4, 1961.
Scott, who had a career-best 27 home runs last season with Baltimore, also said that Obama "does not represent America," and claimed people voted for him in 2008 because he was promising "free stuff."
Though President Obama is a longtime Chicago White Sox fan, the First Lady threw out the first pitch at an Orioles game in July.rest at http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/Baltimore-Orioles-slugger-Luke-Scott-questions-President-Barack-Obama-birthplac-120810-
